He was in New York on Saturday 16th of May 2015 as part of his tour of the United States. 

Lagbaja explained to the audience the motive behind his mask, he said the idea of his mask is to represent the faceless and voiceless in the society, especially Africa. Lagbaja uses some of his tracks to address social vices and politics.

The visit was not planned, but work to me to the Island. The Nature of my job is to travel to different parts of Manhattan, New York, I was excited when I saw Roosevelt Island as my destination. Even though I anticipated a great scenery, time will not permit me to go along with my DSLR. I would not let the moment go by without capturing any image, I decided to use the camera on my LG G3, lo and behold it did not fail me. Below are the images taken with my #LGG3.
